More on CCX

Some new developments make the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) even more frighting and I'm not just talking about the Climate Change, I mean, American Power Act.

It seems CCX was purchased by an international company, Intercontinental Inc. Who is on the board of this company?

Maurice Strong.

But who is Maurice Strong?

Maurice Strong is/was:

-Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme
-Credited with globalizing the Environmental Movement
-Senior Advisor to the president of the World Bank
-Architect of the Kyoto Protocol
-Involved in UN Oil-for-food scandal (after which he moved to China to lay low)
-Billionaire Canadian (not that that in itself is a bad thing)
-Honorary president of World Federation of United Nations Associations
-Vice President World Wildlife Fund

Some eerie quotes from Strong:

What if a small group of these word leaders were to conclude that the principle risk to the earth comes from the actions of the rich countries? And if the world is to survive, those rich countries would have to sign an agreement reducing their impact on the environment. Will they do it?
Licences to have babies incidentally is something that I got in trouble for some years ago for suggesting even in Canada that this might be necessary at some point, at least some restriction on the right to have a child.

We may get to the point where the only way of saving the world will be for industrial civilization to collapse.
Isn't the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring about?

We are trading our freedoms as Americans over to the likes of Maurice Strong and others like him. We as citizens have no say in who is on the IMF, the UN, the World Bank, etc and yet these global organizations are gaining more and more control over us.

The "American Power Act" is just the next step on the road to globalization.

  1. Kristin, thank you for dropping by GM's Place. It looks like Strong is another aspect of "The Beast."

    Again, thanks.

  2. What is a person to do?? This is all so scary that I just want to cover my ears with my hands and scream "LA LA LA L LA" as loud as I can to drown it all out and make it go away. Unfortunately we are in this pickle because too many people behaved like ostriches and did just that. And then of course there are the 40 plus % of the people who pay no taxes and like it this way. Oh my oh my oh my. "LA LA LA LA LA!!" God help us all. Keep up the good work and keep spreading the word, Kristin.
