More Nails in the Coffin

Last night, the Financial Reform Bill passed a joint committee vote. See my May 28 post for more information about the bill.

At the same time, the DISCLOSE act passed the house. John Carey has a great post about it over at The Current.

Sen. Christopher Dodd (D., Conn.) on the Financial Reform Bill: "This is about as important as it gets, because it deals with every single aspect of our lives"

  4. The sad thing is that most Americans do not even know this bill exists.

  5. Dodd's comments about it should be enough to scare a person's socks off.

I've been doing posts on it for two months and the more I find in it, the scarier it is. Of course, it's another 2000-pager so there is lots to find.
