Sen. Dodd's comments alone should be enough to scare the socks off of Americans.
"This is about as important as it gets, because it deals with every single aspect of our lives."
--Frankly, Chris, I'd like you to stay out of my life.
"It took a crisis to bring us to the point where we could actually get this job done."
--That's because like healthcare reform, nobody wants this.
"No one will know until this is actually in place how it works."
--Here he goes channeling Nancy. Why are you passing it if you don't know what it will do? Who actually wrote it? I'd venture to guess it wasn't you or Barnie. Was it the Apollo Alliance again? Center for American Progress?

Dodd isn't running again, so he has so little time to totally ruin this country. Read it, read it, why the "F" would they read it???
ReplyDeleteIt's great to know that one of the two guys that wrote the bill, has no idea what it will do. I need a break, a somewhat intelligent mind can only take so much stupidity.
ReplyDeleteNice pants, Barney!!
ReplyDelete"No one will know until this is actually in place how it works."
ReplyDeleteWe can expect that it will limit growth, discourage investment, and keep the economy from recovering.
Pay attention to the GOP asshats that signed onto this. (Kristin, I apologize for my French but am fed-up with the RINOS!)
ReplyDeleteWhen last did YOU sign a contract without knowing exactly what was in it?
ReplyDeleteWhy do we expect our "represenatives" to be like us? We KNOW they consider themselves above and separate....as they clearly have the better pensions, better health care, and now the better fiscal legislation????
As a republic, we must continue to expect the best of ourselves but even better from our representatives. Let's get on with this idea so the current "we're better than you" idea is quashed.
