Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act

The Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act (PCNAA) bill introduced by Sen. Lieberman would give the federal government the power to shut down the internet.

Check it out.

  1. Very scary indeed Kristin! The only bastion of free press left and we know why they wish to control/censor it.

  2. let me see....I think of ""Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty" as the tool used to help countries shut down from "extraneous" information (communist and socialist dictatorships) to know what was really going on......and now, do we need something like "Muslim Free US" to hear the truth here?

economic as well as religious as well as "human rights" issues will be obliterated with this new control.

when do we decide enough is enough?

  3. Even worse, this will create the National Center for Cybersecurity and Communications. This will be an organization working underneath the Department of Homeland of Security. We are literally talking about the Patriot Act for the internet.

  4. Thank you for commenting, Patrick. I just read the article on your blog. It's just terrifying.
