Internet Kill Switch Bill Moves Forward

On June 17, I mentioned the Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act (S3480).

This thing is a step closer to being reality. Yesterday, it unanimously passed The Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

I keep thinking of that young man from the party who didn't believe Obama really wanted to collapse the system. Are you convinced yet???

  2. and will our SC vote with a narrow margin to find this constitutional or not consitutional???? and how long will the damage be done before it goes to the SC?

  3. It won't be long before there is no hope left in the SC. This week's decision shows us that there are already 4 members who completely disregard the Constitution.

  5. What, Odie? You don't like the torture of watching your God-given rights stripped slowly away? Water torture must be something like this. Or maybe it's more like having your toenails ripped out.

Oh wait, that may give them ideas to add to my file. Strike that.

  6. Not to mention if passed this bill would create a White House Office for Cyberspace Policy and a National Center for Cybersecurity and Communications. Do we need another freaking "section" of govt to regulate our lives and dump even more of our endless (in their thinking) supply of tax money into. The deficit grows with every tick of the clock and OB is devising even more ways to increase that number....
